After a few hours of EVE I get hung up, for example, if I enter ISIS (the ship viewer, stop watching me NSA) and then exit it, I get a black screen. Whether I'm in space or a station, the screen never loads. If quit the game, the launcher stops working and if I launch the client manually it says unable to connect to port 26000. If I reboot my system entirely, the problem goes away for the next few hours. It's not a problem with my connection, nothing else is effected, only EVE. I would appreciate help greatly because having to restart every couple of hours is really irritating.

DXDiag info to follow.

EDIT - I also saw an old supposed work-around for being unable to connect to port 2600 that said to change the prefs.ini to use port 3724, I tried this and it did not work. Same problem.

I'm updating my driver now, let's hope that works.

It did not. I'm starting to think it might be something on my ISPs end.

DXDiag told what driver was installed but I updated it and now it''s 10.18.13.6472 - 3/21/16.

This problem only happens with EVE but when it does, it even stops other programs, even my browser, from making a connection. EVE just gets hung up at "Resource loading." As I said, rebooting solves it.... temporarily. It's also rather sudden, within the last 4 or 5 days - EVE did not use to do this. I am, however, still technically connected to both my network and the internet.

I can keep playing until something needs to load, for example, docking, that's when I the game effectively stops, though graphics will stop loading.

There's an example. Note the little "Resource loading" graphic, that had been going for several minutes, and also that the portraits of the two targeted rats has not loaded - there's just a black screen.

For what it's worth, I usually have two clients open. I have not tested to see if this effects this. I will do so now.

For Resource Loading: Check "Download everything" in the launcher's general setting

Didn't fix.

Wrong toon, but it's still the OP.

I found a strange work-around. This doesn't happen if I close the launcher after opening the game, regardless of how long or how many clients I have running.
