For me, personally, it's because reddit is garbage. People will upvote what they like to hear, so they will write exactly that as well. What they don't want to hear will vanish within an hour. that maybe true and applicable if you are a goon and to /r/EvE but the rest of reddit are fine.

the thing is, reddit is not only /r/EvE so saying reddit is garbage is unfair (sorry, can't think of a better word, im not an English speaking native). some of the subs i enjoy are /r/NoSleep, /r/RoomPorn, /r/Bonsai, etc... which are all nice.

You are right of course. In the end it comes down to the people frequenting a particular subreddit and the topics that are being discussed. It's just that as a communication platform the system is less then stellar, let's say.

Its relative to default 2d map orientation in neocom and is just up from the center. All the way up.
That is the only one true north in EVE.

BAck in the day the ingame map opened with the Gallente/Caldari space on the top, and the minmatar/amarr space on the bottom. So that defined NSEW for all time.
