Warning this is a hypothetical

Running lvl 4's in mid sec and all of a sudden your scrammed. No biggy you look down and your....

Out of ammo
Out of drones
No alt
no mjd
no mwd
no ewar (ecm, wcs, nuets, damps, etc)
No friends you can trust to call or none online
And no ur not flying a lazor ship

Your tank and cap are stable and you can just tank the room so logging might get you killed. Your flying a faction fit bs this will not be a cheap loss. (just pretend your not mr moneybags in this scenario pls)

Call for help in local, can you trust them? Could be a savior or could be a juicy gank mail.
Take the loss and learn? Eject and hope ur ship doesn't explode or get stolen.

What would you do?

Ships are ammo. Who cares if you die?

If you screw up to that extent, take it like a man.

Eject, go get another ship. Come back and if your ship is still there in one piece, great. Kill everything with your second ship, then recover your first ship afterwards.

If not, no matter. Plan better next time.

I wouldn't be in that situation were I not Mr. Moneybags. "Don't undock what you can't afford to lose" - remember?

Pretty much this to escape. It would take forever with the new grid size, but it should work.

Other options... Check local. Look at the bios of players and their corps/alliances. Chances are you could find one who is also in a mission corp based on that information, then private convo them for help. Yes you could get ganked. But chances are unless you are in a very odd system or missioning way out in no man's land, if you are polite and respectful in your quest for help, you will find it and maybe even a corp to join, friends to make, and not end up back in the same situation.

Eject so it doesn't generate a killmail. I don't think I could handle the shame.

I'm going to build a big wall that will keep the Gallente out, and they're going to pay for it!

Bookmark my location just in case, take the death (unless downtime is soon) and then head back afterwards in a different ship to scoop the blingy wreck.

Yeah. Ask in local. You're dead anyway. Fifty-fifty chance?
I'm willing to bet more humanitarians there than heathens here.
Roll the dice. Be pleasantly surprised.

Ask in EVE Radio chat. Probably no-one will help you but at least the story of your poor planning and foolish situation can be broadcast to all the listeners and spread throughout other chat channels so everyone can mock you mercilessly (it's character building Big smile).

1) Align to something and get ready to warp. Every now and then the NPC's "miss" a scram. Watch for it, and warp out.
2) Start a 2 week free account. Make an alt, fill the rookie ship with ammo, fly out to the mission. The NPCs will change targets and shoot the rookie ship. This alone may allow you to warp out. Otherwise, loot the ammo from the alt wreck.

Something similar happened to my mate last night...in a wormhole.
He burnt his turrets, no drones, scrambled and webbed.
Fortunately, guy had alts off grid so not exactly your nightmare scenario.

If you have a problem and no one else can help, and if you can find them. Maybe these guys can help.

Actually, if you can tank the room, why would logging off get you killed?

If you are active tanked, sure. But don't pve'ers buffer fit ships?

Most mission NPC's stop following you after a certain threshold. So while it might take you forever if heavily webbed, it is possible to 'reset' them by slowboating far enough away from the mission beacon.

Also the suggestion of waiting for a moment when all the scrams drop is a good one. Might take a long time but like everything else it is possible.

Am I 'hypothetically' carrying a mobile depot? I could offload all of my faction modules into it and then self-destruct the ship.
