She was an adventurous pilot, young, intelligent and some say too beautiful to have such a death wish. 5'4 with jet black hair and athletic build, she was a sight to look at. Struggling to make ends meet she patrolled various low sec system gates and asteroid belts in efforts to find hapless industrial types she could prey on for quick income but occasionally, her patience would wear thin and she would engage ships she new she stood no chance against.

One early morning Jane Fell hurled herself into the cockpit of her Manticore Stealth Bomber a bit hung over from the previous nights events. Incapable of maintaining any sort of relationship, she was scarred and untrusting, but a girl has needs which she tended to with various suitors on a strictly "no talking, just doing" basis. It worked for her.

"I have to make some ISK today." she mumbled to herself while calibrating her systems to set course for Jita. Jane took regular trips there to dump the various ship parts and scraps found from the wreckage of her previous nights victims.

Enroute to Jita she notices a few ships following her.

"Ah, I have some friends"

As an evasive effort, she changes course seconds before her next gate and warps off into a low sec system.

"See if you an find me in here."

Now sitting 10k off the gate in low security space, she activates her cloak and waits. Sure enough, 3 ships warp in. A Purifier, A Caldari Falcon and a Vindicator. Realizing how impossible the odds of this fight are, she struggles with her own fear not to engage.

"It's ok. They can't find me while I'm cloaked. I'll just wait them out." she says softly to herself as sweat begins to bead on her brow. Suddenly she notices combat probes on her directional scan and she realizes, shes not safe.

"I was hoping not to die today" she blurts out angrily as she decloaks and engages the Purifier. Luckily for her, she had to fit rockets to her Manitcore because she spent her last torpedos on last nights kill. She initiates her Passive Targeter and gets lock on the Purifier and before anyone realizes shes right on top of them, the Purifier is swallowing its first rocket volley.

Within seconds, she breaks through the Purifiers shields and watches the ships hull crumble to her impacts until it explodes and not a second too soon because as her final volley of Rockets splash into the purifiers hull, she loses her target lock.

"Goddamn ECM?! Are you kidding me?" she screams at the Falcon knowing she's dead in the water. Before she can get another curse word out of her mouth she notices a bright reflection she's never witnessed before.

"What the hell is that?! It's....beautiful!" she says in admiration as she witnesses the Golden Pod of the Purifier Pilot. It's near blinding opulence shines amidst the now irrelevant wreckage of the ship. So taken aback by the Pod she forgets that shes still in the middle of a battle she knows she cant win.

"Jane, we have you locked down and scrambled. You aren't going anywhere but we are not here to harm you." says a deep smooth voice on her communications relay.

"Who the hell are you people? And what the hell is that?!" she shouts in confusion.

"We are the Golden Fleet, a secret fleet of pilots who have agendas outside of that which our corporations are consumed with. We share a bloodline unknown to most in New Eden and what you see before you is a Genolution "Auroral" AU-79, otherwise known as The Golden Pod. They are very rare and only bestowed to pilots that share in our royal bloodline. Once you have one, it never leaves you."

"So, what do you want with me?" she asks.

"We have some things to discuss with you, about your Grandfather" he explains patiently.

"My what? I've never even met the man!" she cries out in disbelief, still confused.

"We are going to release your ship now and encourage you to follow us. Once we arrive, we will explain everything."

"How do I know I can trust you?" she asks, still shaking from the adrenaline of what just took place.

"If we wanted you dead, you would be already. Besides, we are bound not to attack one of our own..."
