Can anybody tell me why tech2 BPC have bills of materials for copying, ME and PE research when you can't perform these actions on them because they are copies.

To my knowledge, it is like that because according to the database, the only difference between a copy and an original is a isACopy flag that is set. Thus, that information will show up.

I suspected it was something like that and CCP can't be bothered fixing it. It's just untidy on their part, as tech1 BPC only have bills for actions you can perform.

Your last sentence is wrong.

"It's just untidy on their part, as BPO's only have bills for actions you can perform."
There I fixed it for ya!

You see, ALL BPO's can do all those actions, tech 1 or tech 2 (Or even, the non-existent tech 3 BPO's which I suppose should exist in the database for the BPC's to work....)

So it has nothing to do with tech 1, and everything to do with BPO versus BPC.

Just be glad that CCP fixed the icons for BPC's recently. That was a huge help, and we asked for that for years.

I've seen folk get confused by this in the past causing them to go on short goose chases only to find that they can't do something that the BPC was advertising it could. Hopefully it'll get cleaned up someday.
