+1 Holding a system should allow for more announcment on the owner's behalf. If they want to announce that it is their system to strangers, why not give them this opportunity. In wars, those (billboards) could either be destroyed or they would switch to the new alliance owner. Same for CQ TV that would switch to the new station owner.

However, in high sec and low sec, billboards should be owned by the faction since they own the system and CQ TV to the station corp owner so that we stay logical with the above reasoning.

Another idea would be to enable corps and alliances to have billboards in empire space (or in an alliance space that have allowed it to the particular corp or alliance). I mean, instead of seeing plenty of little containers near gates, we would see actual billboards announcing stuff. There could be a fee (can be the same as POS or less) and a required standing (again can be same as POS or less).

Exactly.
With 3 billboards in system the alliance holding the right over a system can mute localchat for players with bad standings.

Replying to a post made three months ago, that you have already quoted and replied to, does not make this any less of a shameless bump of a dead thread.

Shame on you.

Ok, lets combine two "dead horse" threads. How about if the owner of sufficient billboards and sov length of time could not mute local, but they could choose to delay/remove local chat from view of anyone. It is fair if no one can see it, and it would be the privilege of the outstanding owners of the system.

P.S. I dont mind giving a free bump for this thread either ;)
