I thought the mechanic was designed so to encourage ppl to hold sov over systems they actually live in, no?

Indeed. Cut the fat--form a leaner and meaner GSF.

I have to admit goons complaining about being trolled regardless of the validity is classic.

Overextended and outnumbered?
Maybe there is a correct number of systems for a certain number of people - for making people prefer living in null-sec without feeling some hackers are always trolling and all they can do all day is chase trolls around, then respond with fleets if they fail once.

Answer here is as widely varied as it is easy.
You can have the territory you can hold against any and all who may come after it and yes that even means the single day trippers who come to your area just to raise a little hell. If you are really bad at defending your space you may need a lot of people per system. On the other hand if you are really good at defending your space then you may not need as many.

The same basic idea applies when you break this down to the individual level, the better your pilots are the better you will be at defending your space, and the more space you can hold.

Null sec should give more rewards for living there because of this constant work that people live in null have to do - and it is constant and never ending, given how little investment it takes to attack. Attacking is too cheap to not do it. Assymetric warfare at it's best.

The balance of benefits to costs in nul is reasonably well balanced, it cost more to live there but you can make more.

As far as it being so cheap for people to attack you that is also your problem and not a problem that CCP needs to deal with.
Getting this down to the bottom line what I am saying here is get off your lazy, pampered, entitled arse and make it more expensive for them to attack you. In case you lack the EvE experience to know how to do that let me give you a clue. Get into a space ship that has some guns or missiles on it and go shoot them, shoot them enough and they will either go away and leave you alone or they will bring a lot of friends to the party in which case you better have a lot friends to help you.

Yes I am a "goon" now, since 1 month ago I think, was in BNI before that, then I took a break from the game and then joined KF. With the intention of getting revenge on PL. And I'll stay in KF even if we get to low-sec, and fozziesov people win. Good luck defending the space then. Or, it will become like I said in the post above, troll-sec.

Alliances and corps all over EvE have figured out how to hold what they want, and most of them are happy with the additional content that Fozzie Sov has brought to the game. There are low sec groups that control most if not all of the system in a constellation by means of vigilance and sheer overwhelming force and they do it without the aide of Fozzie Sov, this tells me that well organized nul sec groups with the Fozzie Sov advantage will have no trouble holding territory against all comers. And in the end if they cannot then that is their problem and not one that CCP needs to change the game to solve.

It encourages trolling. First - a single ship is needed to troll, if it works it's cool, if not - who cares.

Then come the command nodes. The command node system was designed for 2 opponents who want the system and fight over it. Bad idea. It allows the attacker to troll keeping his fleet in one piece and going from node to node. The defender has to run after him forever. If the defender splits his fleet, he cannot win. If he keeps it in once piece he gets trolled.

Also the attacker can attack in 100 points at once, without needing 100 real fleets, like in the good old days.
The defender needs to be everywhere, while the attacker is content if he wins in 1-2 places. Then the defender has to deal with command node trolling, this requires a fleet, all the while the attacker trolls another 100 systems just for fun. Did anyone think about this?

I do respect your right to whine on last years SOV changes, but from what you have written is clear you missed the point and need to reread the DevBlog again.
I honestly declare that i set foot in null only once but even i can see some obvious strategies to use and abuse the new system, which for some reason Imperium is not implementing. Let me briefly comment on your statements (most of them no true):

1. "a single ship is needed to troll" - depending on what you consider "sov trolling" that is not always correct.

2. "The defender has to run after him forever" - that is very wrong tactic having in mind current Sov rules.

3. "If the defender splits his fleet, he cannot win" - i fear that statement is not true, please check the rules.

4. "Also the attacker can attack in 100 points at once, without needing 100 real fleets, like in the good old days." - if you make drama for "good old days", then you already lost, but your statement is not correct because you need some craft to attack, and clearly there is no single craft in this game that could win over a fleet (check the history of GSF and their first Titan kill). So actually if you attack on 100 locations you need 100 fleets.

5. "Then the defender has to deal with command node trolling" - not sure what you mean by that, but clearly advantage is on the defender side, which might get fixed soon.

tl;dr:
It is not clear what you complain about. One could stick "trolling" tag on every gameplay in EVE. For example the "Jita burn" event.

P.S. on the WWB: The Mittani said "pack up and retreat" i bet he knows what he is doing, so better listen to him.
