Certainly!

CODE. is the executive arm of James 315, Saviour of Highsec. They carefully watch over Highsec and assure that the teachings of the New Halaima Code of Conduct are upheld by all citizens. It is highly recommended for everyone to get familiar with James 315s teachings and to follow them to the best of ones abilities. This does include but is by no means limited to the acquisition of proper mining permits.

Just in case OP swallowed that fluff (try to get that flushed out of your system ASAP), here's the only permit that matters. Within reason, of course.

I see that the Mining Permit may not be canon but an enterprise will try to find out more

i see that the GMs have addressed this and sanctioned it to a degree....sigh ah well. being bumped is not the end of the world. ...just do mining becasue it is a peaceful way to gain experience and make some money for other things. not married to being a miner only and i can see some people really enjoy the PVP side of things, i dont and dont expect that to change.

here is the thread i found on this issues in case anyone else is interested who does not know about it.

I had a nice reply from GM Decibel who i had I think talked with before....and understand the Company Policy on this form of ganking...so i will just see how it goes. If it is overly a bother, it is a big world and there are a lot of games tho I would enjoy seeing more of EVE hopefully.
