[11:42:26] Rodent Jr > CCP Claymore is it intentional that some citadel weapons (missiles, warp scrams) can't be used while the structure is invulnerable?
[11:42:46] CCP Claymore > Rodent Jr yes, it is intentional, it should be all aggressive modules

Can we please get some clarification on this quote from team Game of Drones?

CCP Nullarbor has previously stated in Slack that only targeted warp scramblers could not be used during the invuln period. Has there been a change in direction, and if so what is the reasoning behind it? This is a major change in the usability of Citadels (especially smaller ones), and very much marginalises many of the fitting options available for structures.

and it is supposed to just be warp scrambler that you can’t use while invulnerable
maybe the tractor too since that can potentially affect being able to warp off

I highly recommend you reconsider this change. One of the great flaw of the current Outpost design is that you risk literally nothing standing next to a hostile one.

Please don't make the same mistake with citadel. Especially since their weapons can only be activated by a player manning them. Nobody forces you to stay near hostile citadels, just saying... Well except for a citadel scram but it would seem okay having just this one stay offline in invuln.

i think weapons systems should be useable all the time Because what if i a battle happens on grid with the citadel during the time that it is invulnerable it would not be able to help in the battle at all

Really hope this isnt the case....

A hostile fleet can be sat on top of your citadel ready for the vulnerability phase and there is nothing you can do about it?

Nothing that is invulnerable should be able to attack.

This is how it should be. Everything else would make Citadels an untouchable zone of safety for the owners. Warps in and out, dock & undock can't be interdicted anymore. The heaven for nullbears and fleet staging.
