The server is down at the moment, and will remain down until we have a fix in place. Sadly there's no ETA, but messaging will go out when the fix is complete. We are sorry in the disruption in game play.

That's not our call, but it's likely that we'll find some way to compensate for the disruption in game play at a peak time for EVE. In any case, let us know if you encounter any issues when the server is back up.

I think they fix it asap as soon as possible. Meanwhile you can enjoy handshake fail Google picture search.
