anyone else having trouble placing the citadels?

ive selected all the vulnerability times, named it, positioned it, etc etc, the Anchor button is lighting up, but clicking it does nothing

Make sure you create a structure profile, otherwise the anchor button wont do anything even though everything seems fine.

To do this, go to your Neocom > Business > Structure Browser > My Structures. From there you can create a structure profile. Then when you're anchoring the citadel, select that profile on the same window you choose the name and vulnerability hours.

dont seem to be able to create a profile. Anyone else have this issue ?

I found the tools to place the citadel to be lacking....I have a new PC, new vid card, new mouse so I know that its not my system that is the issue here.

To get the mouse to access the citadel then drag it around seemed rather difficult to say the least, and not very intuitive. I also got the messaging that it was too close to my fenrir, even though it looked to me that i was setting it up 20-30km away from the fenrir, but it said it was within 5000m.....which was odd.

I am not sure what the solution here is....I found it difficult to 'select' the citadel to actually move it. Once I did select it i could move it around. It would be nice to have something (an arrow perhaps or lights) to show the undock so that when I am setting one up I know which way the undock is facing.


As for the profile issue - there is a lag between drag/drop the citadel into the profile (might be a SiSi thing) - i created a profile, dragged the citadel into the new profile and it appeared that nothing happened. However a few minutes later it was listed there.

Wow thanks for saving the day Nick. i was about to lose my mind. Hopefully that will add a message to the mouse over on profiles as well an error message when clicking the anchor button that lists the menu function.

If my citadel was placed before profiles existed, is there any way to fix it? Or do i have to place a new one?

Make sure you have roles enough in your corp to anchor a structure, and make sure you´re not in a NPC corp. Other than those things, now idea. But that fixed it for me.
