Hi there!

Just wondering if anyone else is having a hard time using the various 3rd party market browsers, such as "eve-marketdata" and the Fuzzworks viewer.

Not sure If I'm doing something wrong, but every time I try and use the fuzzworks page, it gets stuck saying "please wait" and never gets past that point.

And then I tried the marketdata site, and when I compared sell/buy orders on the site vs in game market, its way off. The in game market will show an item has sell orders and buy orders, but the market data site shows no sell orders on the same item and half of the buy orders with incorrect values.

You need to distinguish two different kind of tools:

1) Those that use CRESt to pull market data from EVE itself and 2) those which rely on players feeding them market data.

Not sure how EVE Marketdata handles it now, but in the past, it rely on players uploading market data to EM. As you might imagine, this may or may not result in accurate/up-to-date data.

As for 1): CREST seems to have reliability issues. Especially the public market data CREST endpoint, both due to the nature of how CREST is supposed to work and because its the by far most queried endpoint (the is just an educated guess of mine, though). So experiencing none-responding apps does not surprise me.

Ofc it could also just be a bug in both apps ...

Ahh, you'll have hit the search button.

It takes a while for that to actually finish. and clearing the state can be, umm, iffy.

If you leave it a minute or so, then refresh the page, it _should_ have populated the cache, and you should be able to actually search.

Woo! CSM XI!

Awesome, thanks for the replies!

Hopefully CREST becomes a little more reliable at some point!
