Few questions on DED and escalation sites

I've found a few 10/10 DED sites and other escalation ones. Namely Angel Fortress and Angel Domination Fleet Staging Point. My questions are:

1 - Can I sell these sites? I can't run them, but i hear they are very profitable.

2 - Aren't escalation sites supposed to be given to you in anomalies? I got confused with this.

3 - Any additional info please? :P I feel kind of in the dark now.

1. Technically, you could. However, with scamming etc so abundant in EVE, a lot of people will be very wary on buying a "bookmarked" location from someone for ISK. Who says it's not just a random spot in empty space you just bought.

What you could do, ask your fellow corp/alliance mates to help you, of sell them to them (little more trust among friends)

2. I'm going to leave this open for others.

1) Pretty much any business model that you can think up you can make happen in this game.

2) Escalations do come from running anomalies. They also come from lower level DED sites and they also sometimes spawn into scannable signatures. While the scannable type and the ones that you get from Escalations can be the same site in virtually every manner you can not scan down the Escalation type only the players that may be in them.

To be more direct yes you can get an Angel Domination Fleet Staging either as an escalation or find it as a scannable site.

I always try to sell them too but never any luck. Like others have said this game's reputation precedes itself - someone taking a flyer on your escalation would have to be crazy.

People tend not to pay for the probe'able DED sites, because how do they know it hasn't been probed down and run between them buying the bookmark and arriving in-system.

Some of the larger alliances have channels where folk can sell escalations. I used to sell 8/10 and 10/10 DEDs and run 6/10s myself.
