Set Destination/ Market Jump Distance Not working?

Hi guys I'm in a bit of a bind.

for some reason. instead of getting the number of jump to an item from my current system, i get the number 214748367 in the jumps section.

then when i try to set destination, it wont show up. My route isn't hidden but it doesn't work. For some reason it works if i'm going a few jumps (2 or 3) but anymore then that but it doesn't show anything.

This is a very persistent problem and is a HUGE drag when i have to manually chart out the systems i need to get to.

please help me out Sad

Does your Autopilot settings have "Avoid Systems With Podkills" selected, or a similar option?
