I guess .... can we use the word "dumb" in this forum?

If we get chased by zombies, I'm tripping you.

There ARE alien life-forms in New Eden: alien animals, parasites, plants, bacterias. Most of 'em can be found on planets, but some you may see on market. Fedo can be found even in your hangars and containers, if you have some trash or lost and forgotten janitors there.

There are still no intelligent life-forms found in cluster, exept humans and AI-s made by 'em. To find some would be interesting anyway: killing each other only makes people bored.

For a sci fi game it is strange that there is no intelligent, truly alien life in eve. The closes thing we have is rogue drones but even they aren't particularly interesting.

It would be cool if ccp put strange new alien life in this 'new space' that they keep threatening to introduce but i doubt they will.

We're all figments of a Talocans mind, created by a super computer in part of a stellar cluster array.

We're artificial and yes there were aliens, but the fiction first empire Jove killed all the aliens.

Then the second empire Jove realize they were fictional Talocan creations and killed themselves.

They won't, because they've been very specific that this is a game about Humanity, not about aliens which serve as a caricature of a particular stereotype. I.E. No aliens by design.

The problem with bringing in aliens is it automatically gives humans something in common letting them work together. In eve the conflict is all about people so of course we are the most intelligent, powerful species in the lore.

This post brought to you by CCP's alpha forum alt initiative. Playing the eve forums has never come cheaper.

We also have the examples of Firefly and new Battlestar Galactica - two popular scifi series with no aliens. Though BSG came close with those 'angels.'

There's a theory that the Reptilians didn't come with us through the EVE Gate. They stayed behind, finally revealed themselves, and completed their subjugation of Terra.

There's another theory that the Reptilians did come through the EVE Gate with us. And that they're the ones pulling the strings behind Goons and CODE. Kind of makes sense, if you think about it.

So massive galaxy and no other lifeforms than humans?

Where the scifi actually is in this game?

All I see is references from the talebook from ancient palestine.

There are alien artifacts and clues pointing to them, but it's not a whole universe or even a whole galaxy; it's only 7000 star systems, but so far the closest thing we have to actual aliens is...

Jovians - Another race of humans with lots of augmentation and genetic changes. They are hard to find.

Sleepers - Complete A.I. that live mostly in Wormhole space. Very dangerous.

Drifters - Most dangerous and odd of all. They are similar to Star Trek's BORG. Drifters dismantle Jovian outpost, control Sleepers, and harvest corpses from players, then they combine all that technology into one. VERY dangerous.

Humans are the aliens, and humans being the humans they are, have already wiped out every other species long ago.

Someone has not being reading the lore. They're all Jovians.

No, just no. It only takes a small opening for hordes of catgirls and pandas to come flooding in.

No to furries, but if they were similar to the Scramblers from Blindsight I'd be all for it.
