Was going to post it at the "Daily WTF" thread, but who knows? Maybe there's some kind of debate after this...

Everquest Next cancelled; "companion" title Everquest Landmark to be released

Looks like MMORPGs as a genre are losing their collective mind. Even if that doesn't affects the HTFU sandbox EVE master race, it is worrying to see what kind of braindead barren is becoming the genre outside of EVE...
