Nope and don't miss it. WiS is cool but at the moment not very interesting. Trapped in a cell doesn't feel right, it's depressing.

It's on, all of the non-Minmatar CQs look very nice.

You can now double click and right click on your ship in the CQs, and you get the cargo bay and menus as if you were in hangar view.

I use it all the time, the ship hanger art is pretty crappy IMHO

i havnt really used it at all, very immersion breaking having your quarters situated where there is obviusly nothing there , most evident in Amarr and Gallente stations where the quarters is situated on what i belive to be floating in the exit for some reason where i think the amarr quarters shoudl be into the SIDE wall near the pad you ship normaly sits on and in the gallente one right oposite the Pad.

that and there is no reason to get out the pod atm , noone else can see me i cant invite someone back to the pad as it were and no "watering hole" to go drinking yet.

not to mention all my ships from frigate size to carrier and dreadnaught size feel the smae size when they move back and forth in the hanger depending on where your char is and looks very messy.

Off. I preferred staring at a static door above CQ, but spinning my ships is the greatest!

Tried it when it first came out, graphics card temp spiked to stupid levels before I disabled the CQ, I have never used it since.

If the performance wasn't so terrible, I'd leave it on. I like it, but technical issues prevent me from leaving it on.

Also, once there's a real reason to go there, I'll be more inclined to visit. Right now all you can do is sit on a couch and watch TV. I can do that IRL.

I checked out the CQs and would like to idle in them instead of hangars sometime, but I'd like my graphics card to last more than a week or two, thanks.

I turned it on again to look at the new gallente quarters but the whole thing annoys me too much that that:

a) the performance is terrible and spikes my gtx 580 to stupid temps.

and

b) it reminds me how restrictive and unfinished the default selection of avatar clothing and how irritating the NeX/MT contamination is.

So I just turned if off again and when to buy some new ships.

I have two 580's in SLI and it gets no better. It drags the secondary card's temperature up by 15-20 degrees and makes the primary one hit 90 degrees, when it usually runs at 75 or so on full load.

As for CQ in general, I took one look at it at Incarna's launch and saw how terrible, badly designed and prime fiction breaking it is after over half a decade of hype and decided I'd rather look at my active ship.

Mine is off and will remain off. I generally avoid running bloated and poorly designed software if I can. Blink

Oh and viewing it on a 7300 GT would be even more pointless than the 8800 GTX that the CQ burnt.

I usually enter CQ if I'm in station for a while, figure my internet dudes would rather sit in a chair over a bathtub while I'm poring over spreadsheets. Since my machine isn't terribad the GPU fan barely even has to speed up, even with dual clients.

I do wish it was more useful though. Why am I looking at floating market screens when there is a giant TV right in front of me? And why is it always trying to get me to do missions?

Really, the fact that even the one room we do get is lacking even in obvious, basic functionality shows just how much of a joke Incarna was.

But, comfy chair > bathtub. Plus, Protein Delicacies.

I had another look at it yesterday.
Walked on in and sat on the couch and the only thing I could think of was that if the display screen hanging on the wall had truly useful information I would always be sitting on the couch watching it...
Dotlan has a great page that shows the top systems for kills and pod kills in the last three hours, etc...
If the tv screen had that kind of info on it I would be watching it far more often.
As it is I usually notice that it is either telling me that someone new has just joined Eve, or someone has a bounty ( big whoop )
