Well to be fair this is the NC Q&A. For someone to come in here and play stupid we can't really be blamed for "falling for it" as this is exactly where people that are clueless are supposed to come.

For the troll it's kind of like putting on a ball player's uniform and going to the local pick up match and making fun of everyone that thought that you were actually a ball player.

You come to this section of the forum and act clueless and I am going to help you out. If that means that I often fall for troll bait so be it.



It's quite easy to spot the difference in their avatar (this is a clear troll), how they post and their posting history.

I don't pay much attention to avatars and I don't look at posting history. I'm not even sure that I know how to do that nor do I care to find out.

In this section of the forums I expect to find new players asking questions. If I have to do a background check on each poster to find out if they are really a noob or a troll I'd rather just not even bother being here.

Oh, with 99.99% of the people I don't even look.

But some things (certain ways of typing, certain thread titles etc.) just warn me to check it first.
