no long stories and readings here, cause it's very simple. i've made a few attempts to leave this game with all my stuff give away and uninstalling game clients... but sooner or later i'm back again. not sure what drives me back, cause it's not the same game when i started and i'm not sure what direction it's going to.

so if anyone got similar experience please share how did you manage to escape.

Well you could do something to get yourself permabanned.

That's a valid suggestion. CCP will ban all of your accounts automatically and forever.

Anyone who managed to escape would not be reading this.

Also - should you decide to try again, just let me know. I'd be willing to take the burden of stuff from you.

Anyone who manages to escape the evil clutches of CCP's take on Lemarchand's box isn't going to see your post.

I've tried it several times in the past and so have a lot of other people I know.
Truth be told, it just isn't possible. You can take a break, but you can never really quit EVE. Once you're hooked, there's no way out.

I ragequitted in 2009, came back 2012. Ragequitted 2014, came back a year later. I've played so many other games over the years, but only very few have managed to grasp my attention for more than half a year at most. The 3 exceptions being Aion (biggest Elyos ****** running around, doh. That's what they called me. It was a slaughter, I tell you... I led my army to win against the Asmodian menace so many times...), Final Fantasy XIV (yeah, I don't know why, either.. But the story is nice. I keep resubbing once every few months for it.) and EVE.
EVE hooked me 13 damn years ago. I've tried so much to escape, to get on with my life and leave EVE behind me, but in the end I always failed.
Just accept that you will never be able to quit this game. Your only hope is CCP shutting the servers down.

When you don't know the difference between there, their, and they're, you come across as being so uneducated that your viewpoint can be safely dismissed. The literate is unlikely to learn much from the illiterate.

Like a ghost, you have unfinished business in this domain, therefore you linger.

Find out what that unfinished business is, an unreached goal perhaps? Maybe there is someone you have to kill, or a collective of people you have to rob blind.

Once you have completed your business here, you will be free to go towards the light.

Until someone else makes a real sandbox in a sci-fi world you are stuck. I dont see it happening honestly. The closest you see are Korean pay-2-win games like Archeage and Black Dessert. The lure of Eve is that you can truly have an effect on the game world and community. Look at James315, while some people hate him, he took the sand being offered and made it into something unique. No other game does this and sadly, I dont think we will see another game that will ever do this again. unless some indie developer comes along with real talent.

I hope people are not thinking Star Citizen will do it because that aint happening.

Sell all your belongings in game or give them away to a friend.

Or sell your stuff/SP off your char on ebay for RLM which could get you permabanned, but since you really want to quit then this shouldn't be a problem.

Biomass all your chars............ the end of Eve.

Play Diablo 3 or wait for a game that surpass Eve comes out which shouldn't be long now.

Maybe that thing is to donate your SP?

I see you rolled an alt just to post. Fine. You also are aware nobody here posting has left the game...
well, not for good anyway.

SO....I'm baffled. What's the point again?
