Checking logged in/out status via Start Conversation and fleet invite

After March update, free intel about logged in.logged off status can still be obtained via the start conversation of fleet invite features. This is not automated anymore, but still an information that makes no sense and is free.

The start conversation should show the same message when either the target toon is offline or is set to reject chat invites.
Right now, it says "X has rejected the invitation" in the later case, while it says "X is either offline or otherwise unreachable." in the former case.

In the same vein, fhe fleet invite message should be changed so that if the toon is offline or already in a fleet, it gives out the same mesage text. rather than giving out "Invitee offline - X is offline and thus of no value to your fleet" when the toon is offline.

It seems like it is a simple change of text and box title in both cases, so that the different responses messages can match without telling the player using them if the target is already in a fleet or offline, or is set to reject chat requests or offline.

This is part my point, I checked it and the messages are different if you are offline or online, with the auto reject checked.
So it tells you if I am online or not even if I have checked this Reject Chat box.

My point is in both cases to simply say "X is either offline or otherwise unreachable." so that the person sending the chat request can't tell if the toon is either offline or has the chat reject box checked.

Considering the biggest issue with this was super pilots complaining this isn't as much of an issue and in fact gets rid of some of the problems worth removing the wl

Forgive if i misunderstand the question, it's late and the day was long. You can easily see who is and isn't online by adding them to watch list temporarily can't you?

Not anymore after March.

I do not see the problem with the convo spam. If someone convos you, you know who is interested in your char and preferred activities and have an indication on whether something could be going on or not somewhere and you can send a locator agent after the person/people convoing you. It's the same as with the WL, which indicated with the green flashy login-scroll that something is about to happen -- this time however, the attacker knows that something's going on and not the defender.

My ridicule, heavy criticism and general pale outlook about your or CCP's ideas is nothing but an encouragement to prove me wrong. Give it a try.

Unfortunately, it does not.. If you are trying to start a conversation with someone offline, it does not requires a CSPA charge...

This is a good point, but you see their name only if you are online, and if you have not set your reject invite checkbox.

Not checking this box opens you up for a lot of spamming, especially at critical moments.

Well the spamming in this case can be solved by cspa soon that's a non issue and if your not online they can't do anything to you abs the can't do anything until you are online and they try pining again
