The Golden Age is ending. A wayward and liberal Empire will be soon have its fourth Emperor in a little over a decade. While a century and a half or so ago, all of New Eden — even the Jove — cowered in utter terror before the invincible Golden Fleet, the only bit of Reclaiming the Empire has done in many years was the almost worthless Bleak Lands. His Chosen people unable to destroy the Jove, God had to do the work himself. Now a new terror, the Drifters, descend upon the Empire like vultures feeding at what is becoming a corpse.

There is hope. As the Golden Age ends, the Blood Age dawns. The Blood Age is the greatest of Ages, an age when —

We see the signs of the coming of the Blood Age. God is giving us things to make slaves docile and under our heel as they were then — Vitoc, glaive collars, TCMCs, and SCC markets and from which those true to the Faith may buy slaves and sacrifice them above and beyond the law of a wayward and liberal Empire, a wayward Empire that in the fullness of the Blood Age will give way to a Reunified Amarr-Blood Raider Empire-Covenant before which trample all New Eden before it.

But there is a danger even in the Blood Age. The danger of Pity. For as it was in the last Blood Age —
