[IKAME] Anniversary of Establishment

Good morning, pilots!

With the passing of YC118.03.01, Itsukame-Zainou Hyperspatial Inquiries, Ltd. has officially passed its first year anniversary! Briefly said, I would like to thank the dedicated pilots of IKAME, including notably Xindi Kraid, Haria Haritimado, and Jaret Victorian, our dedicated research staff including Jekaterine Denorvan, Celes Tenebrae, Ollie Rundle, and recently-hired Kybernetes Moros, and some of our more recent combat and exploration hires, including Ran Asahi and Sirlan Takahi. There are others, of course; our staff includes pilots both reserved and outspoken, secretive and bold, and has managed to achieve some fairly notable works in the last year.

IKAME must also thank the many partners who have assisted in this past year's successes, including such notable parties as Tyrathlion Interstellar, Phoenix Naval Systems, the Caldari Independent Naval Reserve, Societas Imperialis Sceptri Coronaeque, Signal Cartel, and others beside. The recent formalization of our expeditionary group and subsequent consortium as the Arataka Research Consortium is merely a capstone on a year's brilliant work.

I'm currently having this transcribed from a small staff celebration, but will be posting a review of the past year's trials and victories later in the day, once the celebratory champagne has worn off.

Well, and the post-celebratory vodka-and-Starsi.

My apologies in advance, as I know at this moment I'm missing pilots and parties who amply deserve celebration. I blame the champagne.

My heart felt congratulations to you and yours on this anniversary. IKAME has done a lot for the wider Cluster, especially in regards to Drifter research. You should all be very proud.

Congratulations, Pilot Priano. One year is a difficult enough milestone to reach, for a fledgling corporation in New Eden. One year as productive and influential Itsukame-Zainou's first year has been is quite impressive.

It is indeed, an impressive feat and the corporation has been a noble enterprise. The cluster would be less knowledgeable and probably more at risk without the sterling efforts of your pilots.

Busy days!

Still, the retrospective I promised. Please note that most of this will be a review of discussions IKAME and ARC have led and participated in. Often, while I've served as a spokesperson for our efforts, the ones who deserve the credit are our many pilots, researchers, and other analysts who provide us both the material and the knowledge necessary to produce these reports.

The year's work began fairly slowly, with basic collation and analysis of current events, and ramped up from there. Naturally, some of the theory work we've now found to be based on inaccurate assumptions, but so it goes when formulating theories on emergent events.

YC117.10.19 - Consortium operations formally announced; first formal establishment of what has become the Arataka Research Consortium, which is an establishment on our joint operations group which initially penetrated the Drifter Hives four months previously.

YC117.11.03 - Unidentified Sleeper device; massive spatial anomaly; first discovery of a new, massive spatial anomaly at the heart of the Hive system.

YC117.11.30 - Drifter Hive elements auction; marking the first successful series of Hive operations as the Consortium, we auctioned off a portion of our materiel salvage to fund continued operations. This pattern continues to this day, with three cycles completed and a fourth underway.

YC118.01.31 - Petition - Public disclosure of CONCORD findings on Vigilant Tyrannos; coverage from Nova Newscast, including comments from Alexander Priano.

YC118.02.01 - Analysis of Materials Salvaged from Drifter Hives; report attached.

Lastly, while not within the year's retrospective, I would like to highlight the latest news from the Sisters of EVE on their operations, which acknowledges the work by the disparate pilots of the Arataka Research Consortium. While we freely acknowledge that there is work yet to be done, to be acknowledged by research bodies as a notable contributor is always appreciated.

My thanks to all of the many pilots who have contributed to our work, and also to Haria Haritimado's and Jaret Victorian's continued work on our public archive, which made this retrospective a much easier task than it would be otherwise.

The Arataka Research Consortium remains a publicly-accessible group operating as a coalition between many notable partners. Without the assistance of our many independent pilots, corporate partners, and alliance partners, IKAME would not have achieved as much as it has in this last year. Again, my thanks to all that have contributed.

An update! Evidently I completely forgot one of the more notable events of the past year, the first discovery of the massive spatial anomalies at the heart of the Drifter Hives, some months after their first appearance.
