Never said to the contrary. In fact my post actually says the same thing... If they followed the laws of physics then no one would like cloaks because they wouldnt know what the hell was going, among other things.

If you were a real EVE nerd you'd know that external camera drones are how capsuleers "see", and that as a capsuleer you're wired into your ship and don't really need to "see" anything to receive the input you do.

Then again, a cloaking field could be bending light around your ship, leaving you inside that field and completely able to see the interior of your cockpit and monitors.

That doesnt change the laws of physics. If the camera drones can see you, physics dictates you can see the camera drones. I am also full aware of the capsling system. I was not picking a side in this argument, merely pointing out an interesting fact/flaw in EvE.

You missed my point.

If I am cloaked, I can't be seen. But I can still "see" through my camera drones, contrary to your statement of one being invisible and therefore unable to see.

I wouldn't call it a flaw in Eve, but one of the few ways EVE plays fast and loose with physics that CAN be rationalized.

I don't judge people by their race, religion, color, size, age, gender, or ethnicity. I judge them by their grammar, spelling, syntax, punctuation, clarity of expression, and logical consistency.

I view structure bashing as idling in EVE. Also gate camping is kinda slow. And mining. Fleet form-ups are pretty lame too and probably not actual game play. Scouting is flying, but you're just looking around so it isn't pvp. Exploration isn't pvp either. Those should go too. I don't directly benefit from WH space.

That just leaves EVE as World of Ships. 15 minute match ups anyone?

How do yo figure you will MAKE people play EVE? CCP would like to know how that works too.

You must be trolling.

You're suggesting the only way I can buy items housed in a big ol' space station is to leave said space station? And obviously multibillion ISK stations lack the communications systems to allow me to talk in real time or send fund space Chanukah cards to my spacebros?

Lets just delete the eve-o forums. OK?

Quite frankly, this kind of statement irritates me to no end.

How is the way I play distracting you? Does my sitting in a station somehow move that wormhole you're trying to find? Does my typing 'Plagioclase' in the market or changing my portrait somehow make your ship tank badly?

The self-entitled ego-stroking 'do it my way' attitude displayed by the WiS-haters is disgusting. Moreover, it's embarassing, because I have to be associated with a bunch of whiny, ungrateful FiS snobs who can only support their arguments with a rotating selection of moronic 'Spaceship Barbie' jokes.

How is CCP supposed to improve the game when the players do nothing but bi*** about every little change?

I can't get rid of my darn signature!  Oh, wait....

He's talking about a cloak where all photons go around whatever wants to be hidden,
which means that the thing that's hidden can not see what's going on outside,
because all the photons are moving around it.

That said, we don't know what'll come in the future.
Hopefully, he doesn't believe that current physics is the be-all-know-all-end-all.

Confirming that simply being undocked is playing the game, while being docked and trading like the ISK0.01 of the north star is not.

If i want to idle in EVE whilst watching Scandinavian midget pron, thats none of your business, and i shouldnt be punished for doing so......besides, a lot of the time idling in EVE is like hiding in the bushes outside your sexy neighbors bedroom window....there may appear to be not much going on, but your definitely poised for action and ready to strike.

I agree with this. In fact, eve should promote idling by having the option to watch scandinavian midgets in awkward sexual situations on the big screen in the CQ.

Besides, EVE is such a horrible horrible game that there's no point in playing it anyway. Why would you want to undock? What with all the afk cloakers that are IMPOSSIBLE to counter, suicide gankers that are basically printing isk for themselves while FORCING you to play the game the way THEY want you to play it, and worst of all, the drunk rapist unicorn that assfucks you every 16th time you log on.

Inconceivable.

I plan on living forever.......so far, so good.

You beat me to it.

That was actually part of the INFOCOM game.

As far as cloaking goes, your assumptions are way off. I am playing FiS when I cloak for hours at a time waiting for a kill.

I'm sure it's been suggested before but anyway... stop people who don't actually play FiS being a distraction for those that do

Not really meant as a solution, just a talking point. Find a way to make people play the game, because not enough are right now

Another pilot I know likes to actually sit there, in space, watching local, for hours on end. A lot of pilots assume he's asleep at the stick. I suppose that's why people get so pissed off when he pops his cloak and starts pounding them with torps in their supposedly hidden plexes.

He says it's like fishing. Grab a nice book and keep an eye on the tip. Grab the poll when there's a nibble. Sink the hook when there's a bite.

IMHO, it's a perfectly valid form of flying if that's what he's into.

Of course, those that want to be in the plexes or mine the systems he's sitting in tend to dislike him for it and they periodically try to get the whole universe to change just for them. Honestly? That's their problem.
