What sort of ship to you bring to really hard missions in low sec?

Id like to bring a BS but unless it has a massive tank and is cheap I dont see it working

the mission I was on musta been doing over 1.4k dps/2.6 sec cause I had to gtfo in a cloaky tengu with that tank

it shredded the shield in seconds, I'm lucky there was only speed webs no warp scramblers that hit me in those few seconds lol

are you talking about lvl 5's.

if you are the only ships i know that can do them reliably without being officer fit would be carriers

There are only a handful of L5 missions that can be blitzed or ortherwise completed relatively quickly. The rest are massively populated with 250km neuts and sentry guns amongst dozens of NPCs. Definitely not for the faint of heart. These are very challenging to complete solo as they literally take forever and prying eyes will no doubt be probing you down.

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.

the audesder war effort (8 of 8) so carriers not allowed.

I eventually finished it on a tengu, I had to massively overtank at first to kill scram and webs, then had to come back with a normal tengu tank and speed tank it.

That still required a few warp aways and back.

So is there a better way to do it in the future when I try to do that mission on other chars?


Obv a maruader would be ideal but as I said its low sec... so not really practical
