Are trades (between characters in a station) recorded by API?

They show up in the wallet journal as type "Player trading", even with 0 isk transferred.

Gonna have to exchange some other way to keep your spai on the DL. ;)

Actually, I'm not 100% certain that the description field is API accessible. I can check. But the trade itself is recorded.

Edit: The second party name is absolutely API accessible.

What about joining fleets -- is there an API record?

Thanks.

What about putting things in or out of a someone else's fleet hanger (seems similar to a trade)?

Even tho you might find a way to trade without being API recorded, the final item you get will be seen on the assets API

Beware that the trade window has a long history of exploits.

I personally only use the trade window with my own alts.

Otherwise, tell them to use a contract. If they refuse, it was probably a scam. Then read the contract carefully as it could also be a scam, which only works if you don't read it carefully.

Anchored secure (non-log) containers in space don't make journal entries, nor do jetcans, nor wrecks, nor corporate hangars (stations, ships, starbase).

No idea what CCP logs for their audits.

Very good advice. The context of the original request was trading between alts so I probably won't get scammed.

But you never can tell.
