Hello guys and thanks for answering my question. I downloaded all the resource files onto my laptop (took all night . 1.5 Mb DSL), and I want to transfer them to my desktop machine. I tried copying the entire Eve subdirectory, but no resource files came along. Which directory in a standard Windows installation contains the resource files, and what is the name of the file(s) I need to copy over?

Thanks, Blorg

On the computer that has the game already, double click the icon to start the EVE Launcher program. In the upper right corner, right under the X, is a sprocket icon, click it for the Launcher Settings. On the left, switch to the last tab, "Download", and it will tell you where the files are, and also allow you to specify a new location (if you wish).

EDIT: You can copy the files to the desktop, to the same location. Or you can configure the Launcher on the desktop computer with a different location, then copy the files there.
