Hi Folks, This will be my last thread so flame away and i'll keep it short so I can get back to Diablo 3.

Just writing a farewell thread since I'll be leaving Eve as of today. The game used to be so immersive and seemly alive, but now it appears dead. I can no longer find a justifiable reason to play this game anymore when there are other options out there that don't require a $500.00 initial fee just to get started. I mean if CCP really needed to the funds then they could've introduce this feature in a more refined fashion and kept the game alive instead of throwing it out there like this.

The greatest thing about Eve to me was that incredible immersive feeling it had, like the game was alive and evolving. Now that feeling is nowhere to be found anymore. And even worst is that the so-called developers (CCP) isn't even aware of what they've done to this wonderful game which is a huge blow to the confidence I had with this group that I feel it's time to move on from Eve. It's such a shame that CCP has lost their vision on what Eve was and what made it unique among any other MMO ever created. Thanks to their incompetence this game no longer has any future or hope left and is doomed to end up in vaporware-land in the near future.

So long Eve, may you rot in peace!Twisted

Keep your stuff somewhere safe just on the off chance you decide to come back. Don't sell your character.

So you're under the impression that the word "option" is synonymous with "required"?

You must be a car salesman's wet dream.

33. "Quitting" posts are only permitted on the Out of Pod Experience channel.

CCP recognize that during the course of gameplay a lot of friendships are made between players and that sometimes if a player is taking a break or departing from the EVE universe that they would like to say goodbye on the forums. Posts of this nature are only permitted on the Out of Pod Experience forum, and must be civil and well worded.

You'll be back :) Hold onto your stuff. Locked.
