So long overdue it's not even funny.

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.

Plex will go up due to all the extra eye-accounts needed. True story.

Not if you watch the same system(s) for weeks. Ugh

Now I won't even have to log in to keep carebears docked up.

It's not gonna matter much soon anyway, since supers can dock in a couple of weeks.

Thank you for reaffirming my decision to leave. Watchlists aren't just for supers, and space is too big to hunt people without in game tools.

Instead of forcing all the mutual watch listing (which would basically be a nail in the coffin for the feature as not everyone wants a giant list of watch listed people even though they don't mind being listed themselves) why not cause adding someone to watch list to forcibly tick off the "notify player" box, then give the person being listed the notification along with an approve or disapprove option to allow themselves to be listed?

Yep. This is a good change, cheers CCP - long overdue and I look forward to this being implemented.

Also Daemum, it primarily affects capital pilots. Could you imagine getting 30-40 watchlist notifications every time you log in your super? That's not a bad alternative, but there would have to be a checkbox somewhere to allow pilots to "check all" to prevent getting massive amounts of watchlist spam.

  • What else are they for that would cause you to leave when they go away?
  • Can I haz your stuff?
  • locator agents

That would be helpful for us who never PvP but have AWOL friends/buddies and would like to know whether they're back, and also if we want to know when a friend/buddy logs in.

Hiding login status to enemies/reds/wartargets would make more sense, but hey, it's !!CCP!!. Never miss to mess with PvErs over what PvPrs did.

  • Anyone you hunt at all, in my case mostly subcaps with shiny modules. Stalking and being stalked is core EVE gameplay to me.
  • No, it's earmarked.
  • Are basically useless without watchlists because I have at least a BIT of a life and cannot wait outside a station for weeks on end for someone to log on and undock. Besides CCP has expressed desire to scrap locators too.

Hunting people worked just fine before watch lists, and will continue to do so after this. I think you are being a bit rash if you leave because of this.
