Nothing is suspicious. The seller accepted my offer (clearly too fast), both on forum and in-game mail.
You sent him ISK, despite seeing this.
I THINK you should get your money back. However the seller might keep it since you sent him without any agreement, so it's just a donation.

I get the pilot anyway.

As per the bottom of character sales thread by CCP

"Agreements on the forums or in game, or winning an auction does not guarantee a character will be transferred to you. The seller may choose to renege on a deal at any time, prior to the transaction being completed"

So you have nothing to petition if your funds were sent back, have a nice day troll.
