Can't download latest patch

Playing EVE over a 3G network isn't exactly ideal but it's the only ISP available where I live (middle of the jungle in the carribean) and though I usually get by the latest patch just refuses to download.

I get prompted for it when I run EVE but when I click OK the download window just hangs there forever and never starts. I've had this happen before with this connection, but I can usually resolve it by running the generic patcher or repair tool and for some reason it downloads the patches fine from there.

I've tried running both the generic patcher, which completes fully and says I'm up to date, as well as the repair tool with the same results.

Currently running version 326279, it's the latest fix from last DT that just won't download. Is there some other way I can download this patch?

The hotfixes aren't normally made available for offline downloads, nor covered under the repair process (since it's not part of the core program files).

Your best bet are to beg or get it from friends playing EVE. The file you're looking for is "326918.code".
For XP, it's under "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\CCP\EVE\c_program_files_ccp_eve_tranquility"
You copy it there once you have it.

Thanks for the info, trouble is I've been inactive for months (see middle of the jungle part in OP) and have lost contact with most of my in-game contacts, been logging on to change skills and have just recently become active again. The one guy i talked to did not find the 326918.code file in said location. If anyone volunteers I'll drop you my email and you can send it over if it's <10MB, which it should.

In the meantime I've worked-arround this by pressing ESC when promted for the fix, after a few times it nukes the pop-up and lets me log in whilst still running v. 326279. Obviously this cannot be a permanent solution and may even be a breach of the EULA as far as I know.

Might end up having to hoof it to town and get the patch through some guy's WiFi, i was hoping I wouldn't have to leave my nest in the jungle, certainly not for some measly hotfix. On a side note googling 326918 yields interesting results.
