Gila & L4s space

hi gents,
after short break I renewed my sub and came back to EVE.

Now,
I'm short on time so I'll be on L4s and general highsec activities for now and wanted to consult with you.

1. I used to run L4s in Gila, easy fun and fast. Is the gila still viable or it was nerfed too much and battleship is bare minimum? Used to fly it with faction mods (20 mill was the most expensive ones), T2 RLML to annihilate frigs and faction medium drones. Passive tanking.

2. I used back then to mix Gallente \ Caldari and Amarr space.
which space will be most fluent rat wise if I use gila?
I'm torn between amarr and caldari space. I really like amarr space though.

You still can, but will take considerably longer since it lost a low slot. So less DPS.

I actually used DCUII on my 4th slot.
so now it's only damage mods.

I'd guess it's fine, but I've never really tried a gila for missions. lost a bit of dps/tank or whatever you had in that low, but shouldn't change things too much.

Because you can switch ammo/drones to suit the NPC's weakest resist it doesn't really matter all that much.
The gila will work well in any region of npc space

A while ago drones got balanced, and are mostly all useful now.
Gallente still have the highest raw damage
Minnie still have the highest speed
Caldari & Amarr drones are split between those 2 extremes, 1 is faster but has less dps (cant remember which way round)

iirc caldari had more hp while amarr were more quick or something like that.

and yes pretty much used the right drones as correct damage type they did the trick.

Gila nerf didn't hit it very hard in terms of lvl4 missioning. 4-th damage mod didn't give that much extra damage. Just fit 3 damage mods + passive shield tank and an afterburner. Maybe snake set ?

That the fit I was using before the nerf + damage control or shield power relay. Now there is one less low slot, but it doesn't make a huge difference in PvE. With top skills it goes 900+ m/s and does 800+ dps
