I says it is already compatible with the build number in this update file. so that means my client should start, but it doesn't. just shows the splash screen and the process running in the ctrl alt del. If the repair tool would work it could fix itself, but the tool must be bugged cause i have tried everything to get that tool running.

Hi.

Have you tried using the Generic patcher on the extracted folder containing the client files? It should repair ot to a working state

ok I have found that the version is 323364. every time it says it has failed to patch would you like to launch the repair tool?. only the repair tool doesn't work.

Hi.

It's most likely this is being caused by your ISP's DNS server, see if changing over to Google's DNS server to see if that doesn't solve the issue for you.

Information on how to switch over to the Google DNS can be found here:

When you've done this try launch the installer again.

the normal install says the patch has failed, would you like to launch the repair tool?. but the repair tool doesn't start. the offline installer says the file is not found ( something like that )

Hi.

What error did you receive when trying to install using the normal installation or the offline installer?

Hi.

Could you check if the logfile created by the generic patcher is still on your computer and send it to us, it could have some information on to why you are unable to patch and give us ideas to solve it.

nether of those two ways worked. My client is still on Incarna. I am starting to get frustrated with this.

Hi.

See if using the Generic Patcher solves this for you, it seems to work better in some cases when the repair tool does not.

Information on where to download the Generic Patcher and how to use it can be found here:

Direct download to the latest patcher can be found here:

this new expansion is starting to get on my nerves. starting eve and downloading doesn't work. going to the site to download doesn't work. using the offline installer doesn't work. I don't having anything big enough to transport all the files over from a computer that has it installed. even the repair tool wont work because it doesn't even start, I have no idea. do you have anything that will help me get this installed.
