Drone Control Unit - Stupid Question.

Ok so I have what may well be a stupid question regarding the DCU.

I have a Thanatos, Fighters 4, Gallente Carrier 3, so as you would expect, I can field a maximum of 8 fighters or drones at once.

I fit 4 DCU's in my Thanny, yet I can still only field 8 fighters or drones at once.

Have I got completely the wrong idea here? Logically it would seem that I should be able to field 12 fighters or drones (8 from skills + 4 extra from DCU's).

They are ACTIVE modules, just turn them on Big smile

Believe me, you are NOT the first person to ask this question. It's not exactly intuitive or obvious.
