Oh, wait, you can't do that because that reduce your opportunities to insult and abuse players with less experience than you.

your questions are not the problem, my boy, your attitude is. your query were answered properly but instead of reading and understanding it 1st, you acted as if you are being trolled. if you have doubts ask again nicely and don't be arrogant.

in this instance, almost everybody who replied said the same thing. so why not believe it? in addition to that, this is a newbie thread and trolling is not allowed so you can expect most of the time the answers given here are correct.

further more, if you just skim through other posts/threads in this section, the NCQ&A, you'll notice that the people who replied to this thread are the same guys who frequently and geniunely answered and helped other newbros.

I, as someone who started the game fully 10 years after you did has less experience than you?

Please stop trolling, dude.

Really, how old are you? Do your parents know you use the PC?

I have a 6 year old niece that is more mature then you.

You keep insulting those who answer your questions or want to give you advice.
May I suggest, dont use the forums if you cant take on constructive feedback.

Constructive feedback. Right. That's what I do: go apesh't on people who are giving me "constructive feedback". Bumblefck, master of "constructive feedback".

I don't know if you know the history here, but for the record, I started playing more actively around Christmas after not having played since 2013 and naturally was trying to catch up with changes, also trying new things I had not done before. Also, I had simply forgotten things. So, I posted some questions. Bumblefck formed the idea that I already knew the answers to the questions I was asking and was asking these technical questions from some perverse motive which I guess I don't understand. Not only that, he thought I was alt, even though I have a loss on zKillboard flying a Tengu loaded with Tech II modules and rigs. So, now I am an "alt" posting "fake questions", and of course the penalty for this is to be abused and insulted and given snide one-line answers and sarcastic remarks.

I do not really consider this "constructive feedback".

As for my supposed "insults", what are you referring to? My second post to this thread (after the question) was the following:

Quote:
The overview defines "criminal" (flashing red skull) as "can be attacked anywhere". Since a player that is -5 or below can be attacked anywhere they fit the overview's definition of a "criminal".

How is that an "insult"? My last post, which you quoted, says:

Quote:
If you don't like my questions, then why don't you get out of my threads?

Oh, wait, you can't do that because that reduce your opportunities to insult and abuse players with less experience than you

I see, so accusing (unnamed) people with abusing me is an "insult"? For comparison, let's examine what one of the other posters wrote about me:

Quote:
You are either:

A. Dumb
B. Ignorant.
C. All of the above.

I'm going for C this time.

So, another player calls me "dumb" and "ignorant". I would characterize that as an insult. So, when I complain about this and say other players are abusing me, your reaction is to say nothing of them, but to say I am the one making the insults. Maybe you could point out where I called someone "dumb" or "ignorant" or accused them of being "cowardly alts"? Because I don't remember saying such things.

Very simple, I among others told.you that a -5 character by game mechanics is not a criminal.

And every time you keep saying to you it is. Which is fine, it is your opinion. HOWEVER, your opinion doesnt matter when it comes to game mechanics.

It is as simple as that, but you keep stumping your feet like a little kid in the toy section of a mall that you must have your way.

This annoys many of us regulars. Just admit you were wrong about being wrong that a criminal and a -5 character is something different in EVE and thank them for answering your question. We took our time to help you, dont feel entitled that we must cater your needs.

Cause I can assure you, soon the regulars will just ignore your posts at all.

Not in this thread, but I'm sorry to say you've built yourself a forum reputation, so unfortunately it follows you here and everywhere.

I understand now that it is apparently the convention to call -5 characters "outlaws" and reserve the word "criminals" for characters that have been criminally flagged for a recent action. I did not understand this distinction before. I am very sorry if my accidental choice of words offended anyone.

So what you mean is that your second post to this thread was an (incorrect) argument about a definition of terms.

Giving you the benefit of the doubt as a non-troll, here's your problem, Droidster. It's quite simple:

You ask rudimentary, Eve-101 questions, and then you argue about the answer as if you were a learned authority on the subject.

You want to ask newbie questions? Great! Do it all day long, nobody will give a ****. Asking newbie questions, and then creating an argument about the answer - an argument in which you're invariably shown to be wholly incorrect, as you were here - is why you're being regarded as a troll.

Cara answered your question. Instead of trying to understand the answer (which would have required nothing more than looking at the overview settings and observing that there are, in fact, two distinct filters for criminal and -5), you argued about it as if the player answering your question weren't someone who has probably forgotten more about the game than you ever knew to begin with.

It also certainly doesn't help that you post misinformation like it's your job.

"CONCORD attacks -5s on sight!"

"Minmatar = PvP, Caldari = PvE" (I've seen you say something to that effect several times, I believe).

"You need 6 matched racial jammers to jam a cruiser!"

It is fine that you do not know how these mechanics work. Just stop pretending that you do.

"Help, I'm bored with missions!"

See that is correct.

The difference is mainly because when I shoot you in highsec, I become a criminal yet my sec status is far from -5.0 or lower.

And as Memphis said, not only this thread matters.

Your entire forum post history will give you a certain reputation. And tbh, yours isnt too good among many I suspect.

This.

Dont pretend to know something if you dont.

You wont see me answer much about wormholes, mainly cause I lack the knowledge about.

I know how to find them, I know what types there are (C1 etc.) and about statics. But what is needed, of a fit is good for WH life etc... No ******* idea, so I will say that I have no clue and that this can better be answered by a WH dweller.
