Hi all, so i'm coming back after FozzieSov came about and getting to grips with the new scanning UI and map.
I'm having a bit of trouble seeing the centre marks of signatures when exploring (I have problems with my eyes)
The sphere's and the large circles are fine. Its the small filled in circle is being washed out by the light bluye of over lapped probe scan radius.
Is there a way to make the red brighter so it stands out more?
I've reduced the clutter of markers but its still a pain.
If there isn't a way of doing it, what is the likelyhood of a way being added?

Your out of luck as far as I know.

However, I do know this isnt the first time Ive seen this issue, so you might have more luck doing one of these things (or both);

* Petition CCP with the issue and explain the problem and possible solution.

* Make a well worded post in Features & Ideas about it and gain support for it.

Optional; See if the CSM can assist you (and others) in this in some way.

There was a feedback thread in the change feedback forum though I can't seem to find it at the moment. They tend to get overloaded with feedback and lock/close the thread for a while to process it before going another round. They've already done several iterations on the the new map and it will probably take several more before it's actually worth using.

Speaking of which, if you don't like it you can revert to the old map in your escape menu under experimental features -> "Try the new map". You should uncheck "Try the new dscan" as well because the old/new map/dscan systems are not meant to work together.

I feel very strongly about this. Take a look at these threads.

My eyes are just fine and I can't see the red 'dot', 'X' or 'flags' I'm supposed to be chasing down in probe scanner view hardly at all. It's like super dark. Oddly, I can see the bright red of a criminal or NPC ship rather fast. I wonder if CCP could do us all a favor and change the red color to the more obvious one when working with the probe scanner.

As to the beta map, it's mostly useless to me in its current incarnation. The older map worked slightly better for me, but 3D maps aren't useful for rapid navigation and are for more artistic purposes, at least from my perspective.

I work with Dotlan for maps but they aren't accepting my petition to join so that I can do route planning. I'll keep bugging them I guess.
