Assembling T3 Cruisers at POS

I've been trying to research this, but seem to get mixed answers.

If I have a T3 Cruiser with all of its subsystems, packaged in a hauler, then haul it out to a POS with both a corp hanger and a ship maint array, can it be assembled?

What about refitting different sub systems? I had read that this wasn't possible at a POS, but was wondering if this is still the case.

Thanks!

Not possible at the moment.

Odyssey: Repacking in POS hangars for modules +1,  but please for other stuff too, especially containers. Make containers openable in POS hangars.

Thanks for the reply. That is very unfortunate that you can't even assemble a T3 ship at a POS. Makes it a bit harder to move them around.

I always thought it was hilarious that T3 cruisers are made from items and technology found in wspace. Wspace has no stations, therefore everyone must live out of a POS. POSes can't add/remove subsystems of T3 cruisers.... and thus, you have to cart the hulls and subs to empire, assemble there, then cart back to wspace...

Roll

I have heard that it is something about de-compression of the hull or something. My thoughts are, my pod is pressurized, why do I care a few hundred of my crew die everytime I want to change subsystems? Crew on ships are a penny per multi-dozen!

My limited understanding that because your ship is graphically shown in space when you switch subsystems at a POS, the graphic engine can't handle it properly. Inside a station, it can.

The limitation on T3 assembly is driven by a graphical limitation, rather than a gameplay/lore rationale.

But I may have been mislead.
