Is anyone really so neurotic about their character sheet that it's insufficient to just click the "Hide untrained level 0 skills" filter option, or is this just a result of an impulse to always be whining about something?

That's a rhetorical question, right? Blink

Maybe an option to hide untrained skills.

I just put little a yellow sticky on my screen covering skills not trained to level V. It's a crude hax, but it does work.

There are third party sites that show empty skill books.

Why do you guys have to be so rude about everything?

Your comment was funny, not rude. Apologies.

If you go into your skills and extract all of the SP's from a skill, you're left with an empty skill book or an injected skill with zero points.

Why would you want to remove it, out of curiosity. I don't plan on extracting skills personally, but wouldn't you rather have that skill injected so you wouldn't have to buy the skillbook again if you decide to re-train it somewhere down the line?

I agree with this.

You never know what changes the Devs make that will cause you to choose to retrain something that was previously useless.

I'm a perfectionist. Not sure if it's a gift or a curse.

I agree with your point but there are skills that I am certain I will never need.

Of course I'd give more consideration to a Titan SB than I would some cheap basic SB.

I simply want the option. Have a little pop-up like when you destroy a rig or an implant.

So what would you do if I showed you a screen shot of my asset locations, with stuff spread out over 50+ stations right now?

Upcoming feature:

Skillbook Extractor:
The skillbook extractor allows a capsuleer to extract a skillbook previously injected if the skill has no training. This produces a copy of the original skillbook that can be injected on the same or a different character, or traded on the market.

Skillbook extractors are purchased for AUR from the New Eden Store. More details on cost in a future update.

In a previous update we told you about the upcoming Skillbook Extractors. These will be available for purchase from the NES for 4501 AUR.

We know you will enjoy this feature and are excited to be able to offer such service to our player base.

Amateur P 50 stations is pretty organised.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

It's not a bug it's a feature. Now you can add skills at any time. Sometimes it is convenient to buy a skill book weeks before you can learn it, now you can inject the skill and train it immediately when it opens up.

All having a skill at zero means is that you can train it up at any time. This is a good thing.

My choice of pronouns is based on your avatar. Even if I know what is behind the avatar.

A choice/option...I'm asking nicely for a choice/option.

As is yours - there's no real gameplay advantage in doing this beyond removing the personal horror and shame of having trained mining skills on a leet PVP character, or of assuaging some OCD-like compulsion.

What would the average character gain from this being implemented?

Perfection is a dish best served like wasabi .
