Prop Sound Not Diminishing On Zoom Out From Ship

When I first undock my ships, if I zoom out, the sounds all diminish with distance from the ship.

When I go through a single stargate, after that the prop noise stays in the foreground while all other ship and environment sounds reduce.

Does anyone else experience this? I've updated my report twice, and no one at CCP has responded. First reported 12/13/15.
