A fix and a new feature:

  • Fixed an issue experienced by some players where there was a long delay after starting the launcher until the Play button becomes active.
  • Added LogLite – a new logging solution for both the launcher and the EVE client.
  • Run clients with logging’ is enabled, LogLite is now started, rather than logging to files.

See https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=6331054#post6331054 for more info on LogLite.

When can we expect a restarted launcher (like after the update just moments ago) to recognize already running clients?

UI Improvement Collective

My ridicule, heavy criticism and general pale outlook about your or CCP's ideas is nothing but an encouragement to prove me wrong. Give it a try.

The Windows launcher does that (if they were started by the launcher in a previous session). Need to investigate how to achieve that on Mac as well.

hmm .. client running .. launcher restarted .. launcher wont show me any indication that any client is allready running ON WINDOWS .. tho i did see a indication in launcher logfile that it did see something running .. needs little work to make the client row go green as it does when starting the client from it the first time ..

also .. whoever was the one picked/made this time the backround pic should be ganked .. it might go with the feature added to Eve, but its little too blank .. :P

EVElopedia < add this to your sig to show u WANT it back

OK, I'll need to investigate - it is certainly supposed to look the same whether the process was started in the current session or a previous one.

Turns out this feature broke in a recent update - will be working again the next update.
