Worlds Collide Faction Spawn

Has anyone seen the faction spawn in Worlds Collide lately? Want to make sure I'm not wasting my time trying to get the spawn

If you mean the overseer, I saw one on Angel side of Angel/Sansha just yesterday.

To solve these endless and franklly tedious threads, let the mods sticky this one post with the following information:



An Overseer always appears - it is simply a question of flying into the second room to trigger his arrival. Sooner or later, he will be there! :)

I get them all the time at least 3 out of 5 have the overseer.

However they don't drop anything worth having any more. Even the million+ bounty overseer drops nothing worth lootings really.

HTFU, I've seen lots of overseers, only one of them dropped SS small armor repper. Or armor mod of similar worth.

But I was so happy!

i don't really understand the comment "they are always there" because i just did one three nights in a row before finishing it last night and got not one overseer all 3 nights, including return salvage trips.

i had one last week that i did for 3 nights, and got only 2 overseers, both sansha, which dropped pure crap.

i take the gate the moment it unlocks.

i guess i don't understand.

from what i understand gate activation (from warzone to faction specific pocket) is the trigger for the spawn.

the trigger chance is random however thus if you want to guarantee a spawn the best way is to have an alt in a fast frig mwd from warp-in and keep activating the gate while your main toon waits inside the 2nd pocket.

eventually the overseer will spawn.

but at that point it could be the worthless 500k overseer.

Overseer with faction loot is pretty much always there, just varies in size
that is if you run pirate version of WC out in 0.0 Lol

I had a True Sansha Heat Sink drop last week, so they still occur. Mind you, this was the first 'nice' loot drop I've had in many a WC mission.

It is and both pockets have overseers which can be faction overseer Big smile

Absolutely true.

The longest it's taken me in a fast frig (I was bored...) was 21 round trips from gate to 1st pocket, off to nearest planet, back to gate...

But the Overseers WILL spawn eventually.

I have run somewhere around 10,000 missions. I cannot tell you whether or not an overseer always spawns. I can tell you that in HS missions it is not profitable to wait for him. Close the mission and go on to the next. The probability of a good overseer spawn is really low. I have received 3 faction drops in my many missions (and many more useless overseers (500k ish), 2 in WC and one in Blockade. And none of them would have been worth waiting for.

There's a rumor: The lower the sec stat the more likely an overseer with faction loot will spawn. Not sure though if it's true.
