CCP you need too seed Plex. At rate going I can't afford get them, And or for my kids. One reason play is could make enough too pay too play, And seeing how you say want new players? 1.2b is not acceptable and if continues go up you will loose players just as have over recent changes you deemed good but most really were not. I think 750m is a fair price for plex still requires work too make, Considering not all have resources or skills to do so. Anyways I think should be done it out of control,Played similar games that died cause of inflated prices.

yeah i feel you man i have kids to feed aswell and i wont like it when i have to choose between doing that and playing eve

Really?!?!?!

I know, why don't we petition CCP to make PLEX only 1M isk so everyone doesn't have to TRY TO HARD to play for free.

I know you are being sarcastic, so don't take the following comment as being directed at you personally, but....

Such an idea will have a very predictable effect: No more PLEX being sold. And from there it should be obvious, but I'll state it anyways.... with nobody selling PLEX, you wont be able to buy them at the fixed price.

Price controls are generally a bad idea, not always, but generally.

There is a higher demand than supply, prices rise, end of story.
Dont like it? Buy a billion PLEX and seed the market yourself, the supply wont be filled by CCP, its a player market.

If paying €10-€15 per month for your sub means that you can't feed your kids, you have bigger problems than PLEX prices.

I can't stress this enough.

If your household budget is $10-20 from disaster, please for the love of god stop paying for an MMO.

Mow lawns or do odd jobs during your evening and get a nest egg built up for a rainy day. especially if you have kids. Or pick up a second job.

Honestly, they would never do this. As much as I love CCP and this game they've made, they are still a business. If they seed PLEX, their sales will drop drastically, and no one will subscribe. This would literally kill EVE.

TBH, there is nothing to choose between feeding you kids and playing EVE or any other game! Period!

Really, why is this so shocking?

ISK, a game currency, is of extremely limited use in the real world. Best you could do is RMT it.

As such is it any surprise that the exchange rate between ISK and RL money is very, very low and that thus PLEX prices are quite high when measured in terms of ISK?

As long as CCP employees expect to get a paycheck, you're not going to see CCP giving away game time. The PLEX in game were originally purchased from CCP for real world money. If you think they are overvalued in ISK, buy them for dollars or euros instead.
