Hard limits for Derived faction standings?

What is the hard limit for Negative derived standings by finishing storyline missions? I used to get negative standings with caldari and amarr by finishing Gallente storyline missions. Is there some hard bottom you cant get any negative derived standings under?

Ever since i noticed that i dont get any negative standings anymore i just completely stopped running missions against other factions, i used to think that id reach -10 naturally anyways. The wikis and guides only hint that there is such a limit, which i apparently hit sometime, would be nice to know exactly what that limit is however.

Yes, there's a cap. You can never derive standings worse than the interfaction relationship that caused the standings hit.

So in your case, Gallente is -2.0 to Amarr and -5.0 to Caldari. Assuming you don't do anything additional against those factions (ship kills, etc) your derived standings won't drop below those thresholds.

It also works the other way of course, you don't get to +10 SOE by running Minmatar storylines alone.
