Refitting Strip Miners on Hulks in space, glitches the ore hold[FIXED]

I run 6 accounts.

1 Orca
1 Freighter
4 Miners (Hulks or Skiffs, depending on who's in the system). In this case it was Hulks.

Straight after downtime I warped to a Small, Hermorphite, Jaspet and Kernite ore site then realized I didn't have the appropriate crystal training on my miners to mine the Hermorphite with T2 Strip miners. So I decided to warp next door and buy T1 strip miners and fit it to TWO of my four miners (the other two dealt with the Jaspet and Kernite, which I had training for).

After I cleared the site. I then refitted my two miners with T1 strip miners back into T2 modulated strip miners and warped to a regular Veldspar, Scordite, Kernite and Pyroxeres belt. (I placed the Strip miners in my fleet hangar when I was refitting)

At this point I spin up my miners on the 4 ore types respectively and afk breifly. I come back to notice that the 2 miners I refitted in space aren't cycling. I try to activate the strip miners and get a message saying I can't disable them at this time or something (I can't remember the exact message).

It's a glitch obviously. So I close the 2 offending clients and re log them in. The strip miners now cycle, but now I can't move ore out of the Ore bay with the message "That item is not yours to take." The ore from my strip miners (on the 2 accounts) goes no where when the cycle ends (not even the main hold) and I get a message telling me the ore bay is full (Even though it's only half full on my screen), the ore doesn't enter the glitched ore bay at all either.

What I did to fix this:
I completely shut down all my clients after docking in station and check the game cache (does that even repair corrupt files???).
I then proceed to log back in all accounts. I unequipped the T2 Modulated Strip miners on both affected accounts and refit them for good measure. I then warp back to a regular belt. The 2 broken miners (the other 2 are unaffected because I didn't refit them) still couldn't move the ore with the error message "That item is not your take" appearing again. I then proceed to jettison the ore on both accounts (which worked) and the ore bays on both affected characters are now functioning properly again. (Side note: When the affected accounts logged off they had ore bays half full, when I logged back on they were completely full.

Not a big issue, but certainly annoying

I discourage running with scissors.
