ok my main is about due for his yearly remap point.

should i use this as an chance to quickly train up leadership skills for fleet bonuses and carry on as per normal?
then carry on with my ships/guns and ship based related skilsl later on?

any advice is welcomed.

How are your trade/social skills? You can do a full year of Charisma if they are low.

With the remap, you could optimize some leadership skills, and the go on from there. You could even just get enough for basic bonuses and the ships you want to fly. You could buff some trade skill while you were at it.

How are you drone skills? That might be more worth a quick buff to get the damage increase.

If I were you, and at one time I was very similar, I would put it off another year or so. Then I would get mad charisma based skills and call it a day... er... year.

I was looking at my skills today and actually thought if CCP gives another gift remap I would use them for leadership and other charisma skills. Otherwise its hard to get me to remap for charisma. If you can wait long enough to train those ships and guns or think you will use leadership skills alot soon go for it. The cert says if you are in small groups a whole lot you should get it and if that is the case you should go for it.

The way I understand it you will use the bonus remap to change attributes but the remap timer is retained from the last real remap. If I am correct about this I'll be able to remap charisma in January then switch over to intelligence in April, and have my remap available to return to perception the following Jan (rather than march). Not only does that give a free remap for charisma, but it also cuts down on the waste time I would incur by holding an int remap for a full year (given that I only need about 200 days of int skills total on my plan).

Double win?

i have used my "natural" yearly remap yesterday, the "gifted" remap as i understands it. resets my yearly timer so i have a remao of 1 again. so here comes social and leadership skills central oh and infomorph psy :)
