Selecting the best screen resolution for my Retina Mac

Hello,

I am playing on a MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2014) and I thought I bump up the resolution settings for eve to 2880 x 1800. Wow, now I have tons of screen real estate, but even with the UI scaled all the way up it is a hard to read everything.

How have other players with similar macs set up their screen resolutions? Is running on the highest resolution a bad or good idea? Thanks for you input!

I´m playing at windowed 1650x1050, no too much screen real-estate but works for me. But would´t go out on a solo PvP fight on a laptop anyhow.
