Interceptors skill does what?

Interceptors level 1 enables me to fly, say, an Ares.

Then what....How do more levels levels change capabilities?

You have to look at the interceptor itself to see the bonus's, which accumulate as "per skill level"

For your Ares, it is range for the scram/disrupter, and signature reduction for the MWD.


Most ship skills work this way.

Ship bonus:
80 % reduction in Propulsion Jamming systems activation cost
Immune to Interdiction Sphere Launcher, Warp Disruption Field Generator and Mobile Small, Medium and Large Warp Disruptor

Gallente Frigate skill level:
10 % bonus to Small Hybrid Turret optimal range
10 % bonus to Small Hybrid Turret tracking speed

Interceptors skill level:
15 % reduction in Microwarpdrive signature radius penalty
5 % bonus to Warp Scrambler and Warp Disruptor optimal range

note that BOTH of those Interceptor skill bonuses are actually rather powerful.

Increased point/scram range = I can scram you, but you can only point me.

The MWD sig radius bloom reduction makes you considerably harder to hit.

And unlike most things in eve each level is increasingly better than the last.

Malediction fit I have
Lvl1 - 173m
Lvl2 - 149m

24m change so 13%

Lvl4 - 99m
Lvl5 - 74m

25m (most likely a rounding issue so lets pretend its 24m) which is 24% decrease.
