Currently can fly Ishtar but using faction drones.. debating if i should bring my other alt out, which can also fly Ishtar with t2 heavies / sentries

Are 2 ishtars in 1 forsaken hub a good idea to blow threw them?

Any other good Duos you could think off?

Thanks!

You don´t need more than 1 ishtar for a forsaken hub . Actually you can solo them even in a VNI.

Just make sure to put a 100mn afterburner on it and orbit a stationary object at ~30KM.

I tried warping in 2 Ishtars in 1 hub and it was not as efficient as clearing 2 hubs at the same time (as far as my experience goes )

Faction drones will only hurt your isk/h a bit compared to t2 ones as they need a bit longer to kill stuff.

I hope this was somehow usefull Big smile

Get another ishtar or VNI and have that alt do another site.

This basically.

The 'normal' bounty system shared by anomalies, complexes, missions and belts has a kind of built in "stacking penalty", the more characters/ships you bring in, the less over all and individual pay out. This is in contrast to the 'incursion' pay out system that pays everyone the same and the way for all invovled to make more isk is to complete sites faster.

So if you are using two ships with anomalies you have 2 choices:

-use your 2 ships together, make less isk per hour BUT have more escalation chances per hour (this puts your wealth generation in the hands of the RnG gods, but can make you more isk in the long run if you are capable of running DED sites)

or

-use the 1 ships in 2 separate sites at the same time (easy to do with drone or missile ships) and have better isk per hour and fewer escalation chances per hour. This is the 'steady income' option.

On a side note, it is , in my experience, easier to get ships out of harms way if they are both together in a site, just fleet warp. It's also potentially more risky as well because if you don't get out in time and a dictor lands on you and bubbles, you could lose 2 ships instead of 1. Personally I tend to use my ships in multiple sites at once.

I have been using a VNI.. but haven't had luck orbiting at 30km.. seems i constantly get hit going about 1100m/s with the 100mn.

I ended up taking out a MAR, replacing it with another DDA and putting on a Sensor booster with 2x DLA for extra 40km.. and have 90km to orbit.. way out of the way of any damage.. but i notice that my drones dont auto aggress some rats, guessing its because there not trying to shoot me because im to far out?

ill consider just using 2 Ishtars in there own hubs... they definitely don't take much micro managing and that will bump me up to about 38ish mil perk tick between both chars.

One other question .. my main can use T2 Sentires.. but for blood Raiders you want to use Curators that have like 35km optimal.. is this still viable or am i just better off using t2 heavies ?

I´d say you are better off with t2 heavies for hubs, because you don´t need to snipe anything and you would sacrifice dps , which basically means less isk/h .

Also regarding Jenns post : I like my isk income steady Smile but when the opportunity shows itself I am willing to run escalations and/or other combat sitesCool

If you're able to run the sites over twice as fast, then it's better to run two ships at the same time. If it's slower, then it's better to run them separate.

Doesn't affect your chances of escalations running them separate because you run them effectively twice as fast. If you're able to run them faster than twice as fast by putting them together, then you're increasing your chances of getting an escalation in an hour.

Basically chance of escalation is the same regardless of which way you do it P
