You know, I don't see crusading leftists on these forums. Why do we see so many crusading right wingers like you? Please, spout this **** somewhere else.

The OP was about some dweeb's nominations for art awards in video games. Have you addressed anything about the OP link other than where it came from? No. Why not?

Actually, the video and the clips it showed was rather well done. However, it is easy to just look at what was on the market and had mass appeal and then present those for an art award. Eve may some day gain recognition from some program like this. Whether that would be a good thing is debateable.

For all you non americans there are 5 political flavors to be found and a mix of each.

1 Extreme Conservatives - These mostly made up americans are the imagination of most liberals as people who would like to keep things like they where in 1800s. Liberals often label them as Rascist bigots and rich money bags and just more recently labeled them as domestic terrorists.

2 Conservatives - People who generally dont like idea of suffering at the expense of less deserving people. Would rather make everyone work for what they earn. They also know that mankind will never learn its 'lesson' and always prepare for the time it fails its lesson in a very horrible manner, also recently labeled as domestic terrorist.

3 IDGFs - Or independents that lost all faith in the government. Doesnt belive in its policies and definetly cant rely on it to solve thier own problems.

4 Liberals - People who belive mankind needs to learn its lesson and has a chance that could do so and belive in equality however knowing that not everyone is onboard for this they force this idea onto others via taxes and programs.

5 Extreme Liberals - People who belive in what liberals do to the point that they weave this intricate fantasy of world peace thats unshatterable up and beyond the point of getting killed by the very people that cannot share thier vision.

And according to last breakdown from a liberal college in california.
10% in catagory 5
10% in catagory 4.5-4
20% in catagory 2
15% in catagory 1.5-2
5% in catagory 1
and 40% in IDGFs

In reality, most americans unless previewed as total idiots do not sterotypically fall entirely in any of the catagories. Expect most to be a mix between 2-4 leaning to any of the three catagories between.

To note
MSNBC is a catagory 5 channel and should not be taken seriously
Fox is 1-3 be careful they like to jump the gun on this channel.
CNN is 3-2 they at least do some homework.
ABC is oddly 3-2 they used to be 2 solely is probably the most american news channel there is.
AP is very much a 3 and it should be high on the consideration list.
BBC is a mixed bag depending on the topics. Sadder still to get more american news (as in different stories) out of BBC news than all the other american channels.

What would you say of "Russia Today" news or "RT" as it's called? Just curious where it fits in your chart - and it's not bad BTW.

MSNBC? Thank your lucky stars they haven't. Those liberal idiots would have this game shut down.

Do you know how I know you're an American?
For some reason you chaps have a very weird idea about liberal people, probably the fault of your mass media or schools, but you seem to think they're out to get you.

In short, anyone who is actually properly liberal wouldn't bat an eyelid about Eve, infact they'd probably encourage it.

Do you know how I know your European?

Because you fail to understand the difference between today's statist, victimhood, life owes me a living 'liberals' and yesterdays more libertarian bent true liberal that was in favour of everything pretty much as long as it didn't hurt anyone else.

In America when they mention the word 'liberal' they are talking about the former NOT the latter as you seem to refer them to.
Read up and keep up and you will be able to determine these nuances yourself and not embarass yourself in public with gross stereotyping a nation of 320 million people purely because of your arrongance on the subject.

Without getting into a pissing match, my second statement alluded to the majority of your whole post regarding the difference between "Liberals" and liberal views. Before you shout "go read!1!" at people, perhaps you might want to follow your own advice :)

Although your'e right to call me on the sweeping generalisation.

It does feel as my post touched a nerve though.

Sorry if the previous post is a generalization, I mean it is generalization, there should also be a catagory A, aka 'other' the ones that share other view points thats not on the red to blue political spectrograph in america.

This generalization is to the point that you can almost bring up every possible political platform and segerate it and catagorize it into the five available.

Liberals mostly think that Coservatives and Conservative Extremist are one and the same.
The same can be said from the flip side.

If you do want my bias however, Extreme Liberals only plan for human extinction.
At least the conservatives are trying to figure a way to 'conserve' the species.

As for art direction

I dont think eve would win any US awards, Euro definetly though.

Because, they've been brainwashed by Fox News and the Conservative Right has gone MUCHO extremo in the past few years, with their politicians bludgeoning the biggest most absolutely nonsensical bullshit I've ever seen. Not all left wingers are awesome, either, and I tend to agree with certain parts of both conservative/republican viewpoints and liberal/democratic viewpoints, but holy ****, Republicans have gone bat **** crazy. Just look at their current candidates for being the one to run against Obama this year. WTF, did they find these people in the looney bin?

Oh, no, wait, it's just the politicians molding their message to fit the right-wing's nutjobs logic this time...

The Liberal vs. Conservative is designed to keep the public in eternal strife so that true political and personal economical agendas can be met while keeping the general population confused and fighting over trivial maters. The fact that news is no longer reported and instead the "news networks" design their programming based on what brings in watchers.

MSNBC = Liberal Lefters
FOX News = Conservative Right Wingers

Both sets of groups are lied to and told what they want to hear and follow the political agenda that supports their party. Not what is actually the truth or open, objective thought.

The real sad thing is, from both sides they argue that freedom of speech, thought and press are at the core of what makes America so great.

Guys guys guys,

Games aren't meant for talking about RL politics, guys... that's why we've got in-game politics.

Video games are meant for partying, having fun, they're about sex and violence and drugs and uber-culture.

Talking about poliitics on a game forum is like... starting a moronic argument at a party...

Thereby killing the party.

Which makes you a party-pooper.

So instead of talking about your itty bitty economic science or whatever the **** you're gonna start talking about, do a little bit of philosophy, smoke a jeffrey and stroke the furry wall. And do some pvp.

Otherwise it's gonna be a sausage-fest up in here,

and you'll go to bed alone.

WTF this post doesn't make any sense...

Or does it?

Holy Satanic Christ! This is a Goddamn Signature!

Gay soldier gets booed at a republican debate after asking if they would reverse Don't ask don't tell, even though he's currently serving in Afghanistan. JUST BECAUSE HE'S GAY.

Applause and cheers following an emphatic "YEAH!" from the crowd erupts at a republican debate when the host asked one of the candidates if a person should simply die if they have a curable fatal disease because they don't have health insurance.

I'm sorry, did I miss something? It's disgusting. Again, I'm not really democrat or republican in terms of ideals, but WOW, just wow. All I have to do is turn on a republican debate and just sit in awe of the absolute stupidity of what the candidates say just to please the extremists who sit in the crowd...

Any who, I give up on this, it always ends the same with some right-wing nut job spewing out conspiracy theories about the liberal media and something that sounds a lot like cold war propaganda.

On topic with the thread, Eve's art is terrible for the most part, especially compared to those games, so I agree with leaving it off the list...
