I think the only one embarassing himself "in public" is you. You for your last juvenile smack post, and both you and Beaches for importing your real world political view onto this game and this thread in the first place. Sure, MSNBC leans left. However the first cable news station to lean was Rupert's Faux News and it leaned right.

Neither side of the political spectrum has anything to do with a stupid mass market game award, whether it be broadcast on a left or right leaning station. The politics of the station is simply not relevant. The award is not a political award. It could just as easily have been broadcast on Fox. Now, the award could be seen as stupid or unimaginative. But those qualities have adherents of all political persuasions and none.

For all you non americans there are 5 political flavors to be found and a mix of each.

1 Extreme Conservatives - These mostly made up americans are the imagination of most liberals as people who would like to keep things like they where in 1800s. Liberals often label them as Rascist bigots and rich money bags and just more recently labeled them as domestic terrorists.
Popular Example: Westburrow Baptist Church

2 Conservatives - People who generally dont like idea of suffering at the expense of less deserving people. Would rather make everyone work for what they earn. They also know that mankind will never learn its 'lesson' and always prepare for the time it fails its lesson in a very horrible manner, also recently labeled as domestic terrorist.
Popular Examples: Glen Beck, Donald Trump.

3 IDGFs - Or independents that lost all faith in the government. Doesn't belive in its policies and definetly cant rely on it to solve thier own problems.
Popular Examples: The average American telling Wallstreet Protestors to occupy a desk.

4 Liberals - People who belive mankind needs to learn its lesson and has a chance that could do so and belive in equality however knowing that not everyone is onboard for this they force this idea onto others via taxes and programs.
Popular Examples: Wallstreet Protestors (mostly)

5 Extreme Liberals - People who belive in what liberals do to the point that they weave this intricate fantasy of world peace thats unshatterable up and beyond the point of getting killed by the very people that cannot share thier vision. They are also intolerant of anyone but an extreme Liberal.
Popular Examples: Chris Mathews (though he may be breaking out of it depends how much more obama disspoints him)

And according to last breakdown from a liberal college in california.
10% in catagory 5
10% in catagory 4.5-4
20% in catagory 2
15% in catagory 1.5-2
5% in catagory 1
and 40% in IDGFs

In reality, most americans unless previewed as total idiots do not sterotypically fall entirely in any of the catagories. Expect most to be a mix between 2-4 leaning to any of the three catagories between.

To note
MSNBC is a catagory 5 channel and should not be taken seriously
Fox is 1-3 be careful they like to jump the gun on this channel.
CNN is 3-2 they at least do some homework.
ABC is oddly 3-2 they used to be 2 solely is probably the most american news channel there is.
AP is very much a 3 and it should be high on the consideration list.
BBC is a mixed bag depending on the topics. Sadder still to get more american news (as in different stories) out of BBC news than all the other american channels.
