Cynosis is a condition brought on by interstellar travel in EVE, whether by use of warp drives, jump drives, stargates, and maybe wormholes (not sure on that). It seems to only affect passengers and crew, never the Capsuleer.

It was mentioned in The Burning Life and The Empyrean Age, as well as a few chronicles, but I can't seem to find a flat out encyclopaedic definition of what it does to a person. what it starts out doing, and what the later chronic effects are. There are so many disjointed places to look, I'm having a hard time finding it without re-reading every single chron book and article.

Can anyone help me out by finding or posting the relevant information?
